Haha okay so I may have messed up my tuning with my ports...oh well I'm still happy with it. And yes, my goal was to get the most flat curve I could. So I'm guessing filling the box would be a bad decision? I've heard that it makes the subs think the box is bigger? Is this a wives tale?

thats with polyfil. personally, i think that is complete :bull: and i wouldnt want my high powered subs ripping apart a fibrous product and sucking it into the voice coil and spitting it out of the port.

If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.

I second that notion. Let's face it, you have a ported box to get loud and move air, so putting something inside of it that restricts your airflow seems rather contradictory.

Bust out the tape measure and measure up the inside of your box and crunch the numbers in WinIsd or the torres calculator, and find out what you are actually tuned to. If you truly were tuned to 27Hz, then the lowest note in Put On, which is 28Hz, should not have been much of a problem to reproduce, especially with subs that have a 30Hz fs. Then again they are just P1s...
