RAM_Designs
You're talking about a very low Qts sub with a pretty low Vas as well, so going with that big of a box is really going to give you a lot of gain. I'd do something like 6ft^3 with a 33hz tuning. If you want a lot of output and a noticeably peaky response, go with 8ft^3 like you inquired about, just realize that you're sacrificing some "listen-ability" with that big of a box(ie: you'll need to adjust your bass level/knob depending on what song you're listening to). Flint_810
@ram o ok i understand i listen mostly to rap and r&b... i thought the bigger the box the more lows you"ll get out of it.... but you would put two btl"s in a 6cft box? Alex K
Connect your stock radio, and play some tunes full blast. Then connect your aftermarket one, and repeat. Notice how the stock one sounds like shit? Going to be the same with those sub amps. Get the cheap ass one, your woofers will sound muffled and will more than likely clip 10x faster than if you had, say an AQ, DC, Sundown, etc amp. Quote 2006 Nissan Z Track. Autruche
6 cubes net, tune to around 34hz (or anywhere from 30-36Hz) with 100-120 square inches of port. that's probably roughly what you'd be happy with. And just get some decent amps, those Power Acoustiks are a waste of money. Quote Need Test Tones/Sine Waves?
