ZombieswithMustaches
Today, I started the big 3 on my truck. I bought some 0g KnuKnoceptz KCA wire. 20ft and gold terminals from Darvex Hooked up the positive to the alternator... And the ground to the body. Is this a good spot? Here's the grounds hooked to the battery. The open one is for the engine block to negative terminal. My questions are: 1. Is my ground to the body okay? Or should I move it? 2. Will any bolt on the engine block do or should I find a certain one? Thanks in advance, guys. Y'all are a great help! EclipseChris
And nice sized bolt is fine, and for the body ground try to reach it to the strut tower. The body there is strengthened. Make sure that for EVERY connection is ground down to bare metal. Quote i resolve to be a nicer moderator. Tercel build R.I.P. Eclipse build Old New V-Dub My feedback. DannyV18
I would definitely change the ground to the strut tower or the frame.
Azagtoth502
Your ground though not ideal, will do The strut tower or frame (if it has one) would be much better. Yes, any bolt into the block should do. ZombieswithMustaches
I don't have a strut tower, as it's a Chevy Colorado. So where do y'all suggest? I crimped them by squeezing the shit out of them with channel locks! ZombieswithMustaches
So, for the frame ground, I need to find a spot that's a little stronger reinforced?
