zayres29 Posted April 8, 2011 Report Share Posted April 8, 2011 i will be running 3 D1400s and a 270 mechman alt internally regulated at 16.5v my question is does running a 16v system make other things in the car run more efficiently like say do the spark plugs "spark" more or hotter dont flame me for asking such a dumb question i want just curious if i might get better gas mileage because of this thanks :drinks: Quote Btw that was the first person. I'm thinking stuff like the ECU, and the many other control computers sprinkled throughout modern cars. It could potentially damage existing electronics in your car to run them that high...
