Running 12 AWG RF from T1500.1 to Fi Q, about 6'. ANYTHING wrong with this?

I finished my box and wanted to hear the sub so I hooked it up. Amp is a Rockford Fosgate T1500.1 at 1 ohm wired to a battery 8" away so voltage is fine but I wanted to know if the 12 AWG Rockford Fosgate wire I'm running to the 15" Fi Q DVC is OK handling over 1200 RMS?

I have no problem switching to higher gauge, just wondering if it is necessary?

Any help would be great guys.

Wiring for the subs? Temporary it would be fine.

12 gauge speaker wire should be fine, I have my DD3515 connected to my amp with 18gauge wire LOL! Granted it's only a 200w amp...

Sub is a 2 Ohm dual voice wired to 1 Ohm. If I changed the wire tomorrow to 8 AWG would I hear/feel a difference?

You most likely wouldn't notice anything. It might be a LITTLE louder on termlab, but nothing you would hear. But that peace of mind is worth it.
