J.Reed
Does your stang have the mach or shaker or non amped stock setup? 500 watt stock would be the shaker right? Don't remember the Mach being that high.

Don't remember the Mach being that high. Yeah that is the shaker setup, they did 500 and 1000, whoever installed this likely signal tapped into the wrong amp, you have a front sub amp and rear sub amp stock. Pretty stupid way of doing things ford...LOL TEAM SOUNDQUBED -- TEAM SOUTH TEAM S.O.B. - Founder & Captain 3x Streetbeat World Record Holder 2017 MWSPL 1st place Mayhem & 4th Xtreme 4 2016 MWSPL 1st place Mayhem/2nd Adv 4/2nd Xtreme 4 2015 MWSPL 2nd place Mayhem & 4th Xtreme 4 2014 USACI 2nd place Streetbeat 5 - 162.6 db 2014 MWSPL 2nd place Xtreme 4 - 144.9 db 2013 USACI 1st place Streetbeat 4 - 161.9 db 2013 USACI 1st place Street Q+ - 162.8 db 2013 MWSPL 3rd Kaos2 & 4th Xtreme 4 2011 USACI 2nd place MOD 1001-2k - 160.0 db 2011 MWSPL 4th place: Adv3 - 157.8 db, Kaos2 - 150s db, Xtreme4 - 140s db 2010 ARSPL 1st place 501-750 - 160.3 db Arkansas loudest Best score to date 164.4 db - Termlab Outlaw Streetbeat 4 - 161.9 db Streetbeat 5 - 162.6 db MWSPL on Dash Legal door open (Music) - 162.5 db Sealed on dash Legal (Music) - 161.1 db - Termlab THE BLACK NASTY CURRENT BUILD & FAB The Black Nasty (6) 15 Rebuild Log 2012 (4) 15 Walled Sierra Build Log Evo X build log Facebook page The Black Nasty

J.Reed
would explain max gain and clipping boost to get any sound lol
AMI CUSTOMS
It makes sense, also they tapped into the wrong spot for remote turn on to it sounds like, get a loud pop after the car is off is the amp staying on with no signal and popping the subs from straight dc power surge. LMAO at "clipping boost" FTW!!!! LMAO at "clipping boost" FTW!!!! My co-worker said something about them getting power from my alarm... I don't know if that's possible, But when I hit the alarm on my remote, that's when it starts. Also, We left the trunk open and the blue light turned on every once in a while, that's when the subs go boom lol and, The alarm went off like 3 times today after it did that
eXcision
Also, In my case would it sound louder if I pointed it towards the front of the car rather than the rear? I'm going outside to take a pic of the enclosure and where it is in my trunk... The reason I had to get the small enclosure is because as you know, the mustang has a small opening so it's hard to fit any prefab. brb
