shmew22 Posted December 17, 2011 Author Report Posted December 17, 2011 Soooo... Its been a while since the last update... but its been a while since i've had a chance to do anything... The Big three is upgraded, but still with the stock alt... I got my DC power alt in but it was the wrong one, had to send it back and get the bracket for it. Second time i got it back, thing wouldn't charge, so had to send it back again and havn't gotten it back yet. So in total i've been waiting about 5months for my alt and im kinda gettin frustrated. Supposedly waiting on a new bracket since the ones they used to use arent the ones they use now. Trying to be patient since i know they are a small company, but I reaaallllyyy need that alt. Hopefully it will all be worth the long ass wait... I hope... Update 2: I will be swapping subs so this will no longer be an all rockford build. I will be getting 2 DC lvl 4's with lvl 5 parts. (from Dr. Johnson)... So a thread title change is in order. All in all im just getting tired of sitting on my hands and doing nothing while i wait for the alt to FINALLY get here... So, i keep my phone close by waiting for the magical call from Stan... getting discouraged....

Sorry to hear that, i'm sure you could get a refund and get a Mechman alt alot faster than waiting on DC Power, and their customer service is light years ahead of DC and their product is just as good. I really like my Rockford amp, so I may just get a matching one. So opinions on that? And I'm probably going to try for a refund Monday if they tell me nothing when I call.

Still sitting on those LVL4's and a T-1500.1bdcp. This will be the basis for the upcoming rebuild. 3 runs of 1/0 front to back, extra batt, two t1500.1bdcps, t400-4 for mids/highs, kenwood x996, SINGER 250 amp ALT (NEVER GOT MY DC POWER ONE!!! AND WONT REFUND!!! still pissed about that one. ) toolmaker batt terminals and 1/0 reducers, Re-Designed box for the beasts (5 cube at 31? want these babys low), KNU RCAs, gonna get a DD-1 as well (gotta tune er up). Gonna get nasty... (well for me at least)
