CWorthington
So i just picked up this Diamond Audio D5600.2 amp. I have it bridged and mono for 600 watts rms. Anyways it says to use a maximum of 90 amp fuse. My only problem is, i cannot find one. What should i do? I just blew the 80 yesterday pretty fast, not sure why. TheyDontWantMusic
are you running it below 2ohm per channel? are you running 4 gauge cable? the fuse at the front near the battery can be upto 100amp, it won't be an issue. the amplifier has 90amp worth of inbuilt fuses doesn't it? CWorthington
Nevermind. I would of just used an 100 amp fuse inline. Running 4 awg wire brand is xxx i think and was using a 80 amp glass fuse. There are 3 30 amp fuses on the block but i also use a main just in case. Its good now. Im not running with this amp anyways. I need to add another battery get a better alternator and do the big 3 before i upgrade my amp.
