18abVFL Posted April 17, 2011 Report Posted April 17, 2011 im trying to design a new box, and i have always wondered, when tuning a box does the vent length mean the length of the vent walls or is it measured down the center of the vent? 1999 Monte Carlo Sony CDX-GT34w 2 Alpine Type R 12"s in 4 cubes tuned to 35hz American Bass VFL 80.1 amp @ 1 ohm (probably doing between 1000 and 1300rms) Stock alt, Stock batt, Big 3 Upgrade Boston s55- 5 1/4s (doors) Boston s95- 6x9s (rear deck)

Physical port length is measured on the walls. 2006 Nissan Z Track. My Feedback Thread i used to think a band pass was something you were around your neck or something.
