Recommended Posts

The 6X9s in my car blew, but the tweeters where still good so...

I harvested them out of the 6x9s and installed them in my car.

Ok I just installed a air intake. It's not 100% complete. I still need to properly secure it and I'm going to install a hood scoop to give it a little more cool air.

Broke the bolts taking off the ram air.

Stupid hidden bolts!

Had to get new clamps

New, used, intake installed. The fact that it is facing down is only temporary. Once I have the scoop in it will be horizontal.

Today I mad and installed a heat shield for my air intake. It's a temporary fix until I can get a proper one.

This is the permanent location of the filter.

you should seriously think about cleaning that rusty ass lookin ground terminal on your battery

Yeah I know. I'm going to be getting a new battery and terminals soon.

this car reminds me of the 98 mercury mystique sitting in my driveway. your kinda inspiring me to slap some beat in that thing :ehh:

Do it! If it's a car your not using and it's just sitting there. Go all out!

  • 4 weeks later...

i love the idea of tearing them co-axials apart to salvage what is usefull esspecially if they work great and the placement is a great idea too gives you some depth to your music with the trunk open instead of just bass you at least got some vocals too just need some cheap mids for it too go with some slightly used housse speakers lol

Now there is an idea... when I get new speakers the the interior, I will put the JVC components int the trunk. Some people will find it stupid but, to bad!

Was getting tired of seeing a plain MDF box in my trunk. I originally wanted to carpet it but, I couldn't find some any where. So, I decided to paint it.
