how do you like your hiamps alternator? i had one of his, and another one from ebay, and they both sucked because of the stock casing and bigger internals causing low output at idle and i had voltage spikes like crazy (like 15v+ from playing kick bass notes)

nice build man i like it. one thing i will say is clean up your wiring in the box. you can make it look like theres no wiring with it all done up nice in the box since you have the window. not really an issue lol but your build is pretty clean so i just through that out there. if i were you i would go with a 15 and go ported. would be a lot louder imo

i have a hi amps alternator..mine actually tested out at 190 amps at 2000 rpm...ive had it for almost 3 years and its served me well..in the summer i charge at 14.0 and in the winter i charge at 14.5 14.6..just because heat is the enemy...

ive actually got a 2nd hi amps alt that im making a bracket for now..so i can run dual alts on my civic.. in my experience they cant be beat for the price

also love the build man....how thick is that plexi tho??
