Jamals Maxima 2 10's 4th Order Trunk Build

Recommended Posts

Ok thats beasicly the exact same measurements imma need fory car but instwad of the wood port mine is going to be a aeroport

I thought about using an aero, a 6" flared to 8" just didn't happen

Why not? Too much space or other reasons? I have a 6 inch aero sitting around and might try if it would work

Hahah damn cody

She ain't that sexy. I wouldn't even let her blow me. Those 10 pounds of make up would end up all over my crotch.

No sketchup pro here.. But my idea for you dwright...

bandpass1.jpg

bandpass2.jpg

bandpass3.jpg

If the rear seats fold down and the box face clears the deck, a removable face done so with t nuts and 1/4-20 caphead Allen head screws

If not, the rear face of the box removable with 1/4-20 allens and t nuts...

I'm just playing around because I'm thinking about building a bandpass.... and my idea design looks like the one I just threw together on sketchup. I know you build bandpasses and I've heard you are pretty decent at it.... Any advantages/ disadvantages you know of by creating a style like mine with a common sealed chamber vs 2 chambers like you have. I've heard that the one I just designed is very efficient, and I know from experience that 2 woofers in a single chamber are a little more forgiving on airspace than 1 woofer in 1 chamber...

Don't take it personal, I'm just bouncing around ideas... My box dimensions may not even be close to yours... I didn't put anything into a calculator for airspace, etc.... I just eyeballed it all.

I was gonna do it that way originally, but robin butler ( iamamp3pimp ) suggested I do it this way.

Edit:

I respond more when I get off work

^^^ it's do able

Wouldn't even be a problem... Building a box in the trunk isn't hard ...

Actually, his limiting factor would be his height. Mustang trunks are pretty small when putting stuff in them audio wise.
