04ex18 Posted April 26, 2011 Report Share Posted April 26, 2011 This will be my first real build, and here is what it involves, 2 audique hdc3 18s d2, 1 audioque 3500d.1 amp, bullz audio and monster cable 0 guage, bullz audio fuse holders and audiopipe fuses, knu concepts battery terminals along with stinger terminals also. custom built box of around 12 cubic feet tuned to approximately 32 hz, rockford fosgate power series mids and highs, For right now my mids and highs amp is a audiopipe ap2004 4 channel, it pushes them nice and loud but will upgrade to a audioque 90x4 just to match my other amp. Future plans are to loose the crappy rear seat and get two more hdc3 18s and another 3500d.1 and fiberglass sum mids and highs into my pillars and yadadadada, many upgrades in future. For alternator im gonna go with mike singers 250a alt, and all xs batterys, got a d6500 for under the hood ordered for now, and a bunch of 0 guage should b coming in and fuse holders and such, will take pictures as i get products... anywho on to the pictures, cause i know people on here love the shit out of some pictures, so take it easy on me as i am a noob to these build logs and pictures and such. For first set of pictures will be my mids and highs being installed and amped up, for anyone who owns a explorer of my year, i feel yr pain as to running yr mid and high wires, it was a pain in my arse. 04ex18 Posted April 27, 2011 Author Report Share Posted April 27, 2011 very interested on this project man, same amp that i wanna buy and also, i have 2 DD 3518's wich are basically the same subs, what port area are you planning to do?? tuned in, hoping for new pics, good luck... im not sure on the port area yet, as i am gonna mess with the torres calculator and such, like i said im a noob at building boxes, have never built one in my life, but im pretty sure i can handle it, ill most likely have decaf help me with the box on port area and such, and i wanna tune around 31-33, cause i love them low lows, after i heard my buddys system which got really low, and super loud, ever since then i've had the bug for low bass, there will be plenty of pictures, i should have some stuff coming in the mail today, if i do i will get pictures of it and post on here as soon as possible, sunday is gonna be my box building day and ima take a lot of pictures of that, even if i mess up and figure out i cant do it, ill still post pictures, cause im all about giving people a laugh even if there laughing at me and not with me! 04ex18 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Anyway cant wait to see more updates! no updates today, bad storming around here like i mentioned above, delaying shipping, cause i had six items that was suppose to be delivered today and none came, i promise lots of pictures cause me myself i am a picture whore, and i love em and i kno everyone else does, i am uploading a new video on face book right now that i took with the new phone i just got, a motorola atrix, i cranked up my mids and highs to see what the speaker on the phone would act like at high volumes, will post it when done processing and such....thanx............04ex18 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ordering my alternator next week, along with my batterys....... anywho pictures or the small stuff but important stuff i got today!
