Alternator problem PLEASE HELP!!!

Recommended Posts

Alright so as the topic says. I just bought a 2006 ford ranger. Ive put my 12's in and once all my mids and highs are in i will be around 2300rms Ive been told the stock alternator is 120 amps? not for sure on that but doesnt really matter cause its not enouogh. I have a yellow top under the hood and when im slammin with just 1500rms I am between 13.3 and 14V Now i know thats not terrible but my last set up was a 14.8 and I deffinitely notice the difference. So down to the actual problem. NO ONE MAKES OR UPGRADES ALTERNATORS FOR THIS VEHICLE!!!! Atleast to what I have been able to see. I have spent a couple hours calling several places just local trying to buy or upgrade the stock one I have. What I need is for someone to help me out whether they know of a place that upgrades alternators or a alternator that i can put in my truck. This is sort of urgent because I got my mids and highs all ready to install but cannot do it until I solve this problem. THANKS!!

Make sure to call in as they typically all have available solutions for your vehicle but do not have them posted. For example I recently ordered a 320a alt from DC Power Inc, cost me $529...worth every penny :)
