MrGrey13
i already posted some of these pics but im going to do a step by step of how i made my custom dash for a double din touch screen and the materials i used. the original dash. the vents removed, universal double din bezel fittin in. test fit. double din bezel glued in place and filled in gaps around it with ABS plastic epoxy. there are many brands that will work, just go to a hardware store and look. disassembled vents and glued them in so i still have a vent cover. sanded down the epoxy after it hardened. used polyflex, a plastic bondo, to fill in small holes. sanded down bondo. primered, still needs a light sanding but im still deciding on color and finish look. now to move the vents up to make room for back of double din. cut it up with a body saw on the sides and cut some of the divider in the middle. glued and sealed it off with more ABS plastic epoxy. make sure air isnt going into the area with the radio, the heater blowing on your radio will be bad... thats all i have done so far, all i have left is to decide on final color of dash bezel and attach the double din once i get it. Thanks ive had a few people ask for a step by step of how i did it, so i made it anyway. but yeah, they have bondo for anything haha. you could even use flex filler 2 from urithane supply company for filling in gaps, it sands easier and you dont have to bondo as much. MrGrey13
What kind of voltmeter is that? Seems rather small i cant remember the brand, but i did take it out of the case to fit it into a smaller area. so now all you see is the number portion.
