Why skimp on it when you can get audiotechnix for what, $2 a foot? You dont HAVE to go highest quality if you dont want to shell out the cash, but shell out the cash for something worth it instead of being cheap and wasting money on shit. I personally use SS damp pro and would never even consider deadener off ebay. Or anything else I dont plan on replacing because its junk. Do youself a favor and pony up for the decent stuff. My $.2.

There are some acoustical test results that are floating around that I had a 3rd party and it shows that SS Damp and Audio Technix 60mil are exactly up to par with each other. jmilch Posted May 4, 2011 Report Posted May 4, 2011 the spray you linked there is a waste of time for any real deadening. fatmat/rattlecrap is junk as well. youll get 50 cheapasses on the forum here though telling you its just as good though although its not. I am far from a "cheap ass" and I have had zero issue with Rattletrap. I did get a steep discount on it, and I went with the 80 mil. I already had 60^3 of dynamat extreme. For poops and giggles I removed the dynamat and installed the rattle trap in the same spots. I much preffered the latter. Price was NOT a concern, but performance was. It is just a street car, but I am here to say some of the cheaper products arent necessarily bad.
