LOL. He just said he just turned the gains down to half, lol. Set the gains correctly.

What I think is happening is either the sub is wired too low (or amp output is maxrated) and the gains have been set to compensate thus resulting in his issue.

When the sub starts to sound bad what is your voltage sitting at?
