Fi BTL Question

Recommended Posts

If money is seriously as tight as you propose OP, I don't think the BTL is the route you'd like to go. Only because no, your enclosure will not work efficiently. A great sub in a crappy box = crappy performance. Not to mention the cost of a real 2,500 watts + amp on top of the cost of electrical upgrades to provide the current for 2,500 watts and any damplifier to maintain sound control...you're in the deep end. Buying wood for the new enclosure would actually be one of the cheapest things on your list.

Scratch the BTL and look for either a Q or BL if you're set on FI. AA as well.

Great advice to follow right there! ;)

The btl will take 2500rms all day.... ive ran 2 aq3500.1s strapped at 1ohm to mine... they took it pretty well considering my box is a bit big...
