korey_hofer Posted May 8, 2011 Report Share Posted May 8, 2011 hmm looks like I am the only one with actual experience with both. same power. same box that was actually built around the dc's the type r's got louder and played flatter. right now I down sized to 2 type r 10's running around 900-1000 each and they will play 35hz under tuning of my box no problems. I love these cheap bastards. they need to be the 2nd generation though. the 3rd gens are not as good Quote previously known as wenn_du_weinst aka fucking internet coward supreme.
