korey_hofer Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 hmm looks like I am the only one with actual experience with both. same power. same box that was actually built around the dc's the type r's got louder and played flatter. right now I down sized to 2 type r 10's running around 900-1000 each and they will play 35hz under tuning of my box no problems. HazeGrey75 Posted May 8, 2011 Author Report Posted May 8, 2011 My type Rs are the latest gen. Box specs 42Wx11Hx20D 3/4 MDF braced tuned to around 35HZ. I havent pin pointed the exact tune yet, it was 36 before the braces Quote
