Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

hmm looks like I am the only one with actual experience with both. same power. same box that was actually built around the dc's the type r's got louder and played flatter. right now I down sized to 2 type r 10's running around 900-1000 each and they will play 35hz under tuning of my box no problems. I love these cheap bastards. they need to be the 2nd generation though. the 3rd gens are not as good

It gives me the best tuning and most volume out of the space I have.

i noticed you mentioned that a couple times, but...larger volume does not always mean better.

What I'm starting to think I need to do is add a few hundred watts to get the most out of the DCs. Thats not what I want to do though. Right know my electrical is good, I think I can go 1500 but I dont know.
