Ive done some research, but mostly came out empty handed due to the fact of not fully understanding it. So if anyone could tell me if what I'm saying is true, and where they "should" or are "normally" set at ( I know every system is different, but if you could give me a rough idea that would be great)I am running a 15" HCCA Orion to give you a rough idea. I am mostly doing this forum for the knowledge gain rather then needing help really bad. So any help would be great thanks! Gain-5v-0.15v- I believe i start out at 5V and tune up till it clips Subsonic-10Hz-50-HZ- I believe this tunes out to low of notes, but where should it be at? where my box is tuned like at 30 Hz? Bass Boost- 0DB-6DB I know this makes it hit harder, but where is the usual point where there at, half or 3/4?? LPF-20Hz-200Hz, I believe this makes it lower, or higher, where is this usually tuned? memphisBred Posted May 12, 2011 Report Posted May 12, 2011 Gain is used to fine tune the input voltage. If you have 3.16 volts from the deck you'd want to have the gain at or above 3.16 volts. Easily done with a oscope. Turn subsonic to ~5 Hz below tuning. Bass boost off LPF to around 60-80 depending on preference and where your front stage picks up. I thought this made it hit harder, or does it more distort it then? Isn't Output master when i would link my two amps togethor?
