2loudisjustright
I already have a few subs in mind, but what subwoofer would yall recommend for a daily driver subwoofer(occasional spl use as well) in 18" that will see 3,000+ watts? hdorre
I would get either a Fi BTL or Ascendant Audio Mayhem. A DC XL would like that clean power too. ...that's all assuming that you know what you're doing. If you're a n00b, then look into an AA/SMD or DC lvl 5 Quote On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread

If you're a n00b, then look into an AA/SMD or DC lvl 5 I was definitely considering the AA Mayhem or the DC XL. I am not a complete n00b. I was competing and setting the Va state record in USACi outlaw back in 2000 i think it was. I had a dodge dakota 5.9 r/t with a wall of 8 bostwick hd pro 15's running off of 2 u.s. amps vlx-50's all intalled and tuned myself. I hit a 159.8 with that in 0-150 watt modified. Then changed up and did well in 301-600 stock class with 2 atomic 15's and 2 bostwick 1,200d's and hit around 155 to 156(again USACi outlaw) Quote 2000 zx2: Rebuild with 8 12s on a 10k underway!! hdorre
Uhm...damn! I bet you were craving for that 160 Nice scores though. I didn't intend to insult you when I said "noob." I don't know you, and didn't know what experience you had. Come to think about it...I never even called you a n00b haha Quote On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread

This was already a big impovement over the usual low to mid 158's i had been hitting. I went up to that 159.8 after finding out how and some tuning time with the amps. Not insulted at all. I know i am new here and just wanted to let you know i've been around system's before(had a wall of 3 stroker 15's before too, just didnt push em hard enough to do much). How about sundown nightshade's. Would they hold up? Quote 2000 zx2: Rebuild with 8 12s on a 10k underway!! MY BUILD LOG
hdorre
It's all good man Nightshades have a reputation of taking SAZ2500 and 3500Ds. Im not sure whether or not that's daily. It wouldn't surprise me.
