18abVFL Posted May 15, 2011 Report Posted May 15, 2011 its time to upgrade. i was looking at amps at the audio shop today and i have my eyes set on a few nice American Bass amps, or maybe even an Audioque 1200d. they all put out between 1200 and 1500RMS. I'm running on stock electricals basically, and i am not thinking about upgrading them anytime soon, because the car will be gone by the end of summer. Battery is stock, and i have a new(ish) 105 amp (i think...) alternator. HOWEVER I DO HAVE THE BIG 3 UPGRADE and i havent had any problems with the electrical system in about 4 years. The owner of the shop was telling me that i'll be just fine running 1500rms on stock electricals for now, and that the big 3 will definitly do its job. I just wanna run it past you guys, since all of you know alot about this. Freshman6969 Posted May 15, 2011 Report Posted May 15, 2011 i have a hifonics bxi(?) 2010D ill be putting up for sale soon, 180+ shipping or 200shipped, which evers cheaper, just shoot me a pm if your interested or want more info, but both of those amps your talking about are solid amps, its really prefrence Legal TL scores145.6 on the dash sealed up in the low 40hz area with the port out145.5 on the dash sealed up @30hz with the port inless then 1k clamped on a 3.5k!
