Should i invert my subs?

Should i invert my DC LVL 3 15s??? How would you think it looks?

Also how hard is it to invert subs? What do you have to make sure of when inverting them?

ALSO, What router should i get to cut my 15" hole

Cut the baffle as you would if you were mounting it normally, I believe that's the proper thing to do.

But you would take the gasket off? why? i thought the gasket was universal to both sides?

Some are the same on both sides, some arn't. Just make sure teh surround doesn't rub agains't the wood. You have to cut a good circle and make the sub perfectly centered.

And besides the looks, inverting the subs only make the setup louder if the box wasn't the correct size in the first place.

one way you can make sure you mount the inverted sub correctly is to drop the sub in "normally" and draw a circle around the outside of the sub. then flip the sub over and line it up and screw it down.
