Id like to put a bigger speaker in the door. Should I do it or stick with stock hole?

I dont really wanna do glass. give me some suggestions. 2005 hyudai elentra.

do you have stock in there? just stick with the stock size find a componet set in 5.25" it will make it alot easier if you wanna go bigger your gunna have to cut it up and make it fit :good:

I got pioneer in the door now but can hardly hear it, rms like 35watts. I dont mind cutting, but what about depth.

measure the amount of depth you have to play with, then shop around, most of the time the mounting depth is in the specs

rockford makes some shallow mount mids/highs

Cars often have room between the door itself and the door panel; spacer rings can get you the depth you need for larger drivers, and no glassing required.
