jasonw30 Posted October 4, 2007 Report Share Posted October 4, 2007 actually i know quite a lot about it....and i do have a 3000rms amp......and i figured if a pair of alphasonik 600 series 12's would handle it i figured the se12's would to.....but i guess they just arent as good as i hoped what kind of amp do you have? AI James Posted October 4, 2007 Report Share Posted October 4, 2007 2 soundstream pca1500d's2 alphasonik pma1000hca's 6 alphasonik pma1200da's plus a bunch of smaller ones laying around a soundstream thats known to run hot and not recommended at 1ohm even by the manufacture when you call them (although it says it on the box)that are overrated 2 diff alphasoniks (rebadged audiobahn amps) that are overrated. but i dont have to tell you that because you already know all. if you run 3k i would look at getting some Bls or somethign like that even SX can be fryed by people that overpower them only by 500ish Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
andym85 Posted October 4, 2007 Report Share Posted October 4, 2007 (edited) why 6 2 isnt good enough 2 SE's are like a total of 1200watts...u would be giving them double their rms...with 3000watts u would like six, like accordman said. the SE's are awesome by the way, better than the alphasoniks anyways (never actually heard an alphasonik, but anything from RE has gotta be a step up)....like jason is saying, get a couple of SX's, u wont be dissapointed edit: nevermind on the SX's...i thought they were 1500rms, just looked and their 1000...
