I am looking to get a new amp for my Audioque HDC3 15". I currently have my 2 JL 500/1's hooked up to it in a 4.77 cubic foot box tuned to around 34hz. I need a new amp to power this sub, something to power it at 1ohm. I've heard this sub can handle 2000rms all day, but it is stated it is continuous at 1000rms on their website. So, I need a amp to power this sub and maybe a little more since I MIGHT use it to power 2 of these subs since I have an extra one. My budget is about $350, new or used amp. My car will not be running above 14.4 V. So far I have been looking into Audioque amps.

Ehhhhh....I'm not a huge Hifonics fan. Their amps get so damn hot. But i'll consider it. Plus its out of my price range

you can take a look at the BRZ 2400.1 just 49 bucks more, each sub can get 1200rms rated power...

or below your range BRZ2100.1 you save a bit and they get 1050rms each lol....

since you don't like Hifonics...

AQ2200D 39 bucks above your budget...Not bad at all!! 1100Rms per sub...

I'd personally get an AQ2200 for the pair, and later on down the road you can get another to run to the second sub.

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.
