Looks good. Box specs? Such as sealed/ported, port area, tuning?

Awesome! I'm debating doing a 4th order for my 4 18's that why I was curious. How long is your port, about 10"? I was thinking of going with about 45hz tuning because I'm looking for a low end beast and doing a 2:1 ratio. 11 sealed 22 ported with about 450" of port area. Built a decent amount of boxes but new to bandpass.

So how exactly do you figure out what the range of play is in the box? I mean why tune it so high compared to a 34hz box or something. Reason im asking is im thinking of doing a 4th order in my car for my lvl4xl 15.

The tuning in a 4th order is like a low pass filter. Then the ratio helps determine how wide of a range it has. 1:1 ratio has larger 1:3 or more has smaller range but more efficient. Atleast I think that's what I've got out of my bp research.

im no bandpass pro but have built a few smaller setups so I knew what to expect to an extent but i did lots of asking around and finally settled on this setup(80inches helped alot).but as for tuning i can say that the 48hz tuning on this box probably plays lower than a good 35hz ported box but also has very good upper range response, i can say i am impressed with the overall quality of the bass and the loudness. For those thinking bandpass dont go crazy and tune too low youll just be chopping the port down to get the output up. as was stated above tuning a 4th order is completly different than a standard ported box!
