n8ball2013
dc has great customer service and thats the reason for a pricing difference? some of you guys kill me. I commend rusty for cornering part of the market though. I wont say what part. Jeff some of them use different parts on the board. some may be higher end and can contribute to a higher overall cost. I wont say that is the case since Ive never popped any of them open and compared but its a possibility. PUNKYOU007
So the Crescendo looks just like the DC and the DC is the same as the Cactus which just so happens to look just like the Cadence ZRS C7 I am sure there are some parts differences but for the most part they are all the same amplifier? Why such huge price differences? most likely the same buildhouse, whats the point here?... You tell me Quote Doethepaperboy "Bars of Pain" Doethepaperboy "Hero Remix" C. Robert8252
It's been mentioned an given facts plenty of times before. All amps come from a small number of build houses. Lots of parts can be similar and different and look the same or different. It all comes down to running from the company you want to run. I love my DC. I'd be willing to use crescendo as well but with DC you know you're going to get a great product and great customer service. Not saying Crescendo won't but they have to build a name for them selves and are probably selling very close to cost to get the name out. Look at audioque. Offered a great product at low prices. Have you noticed their prices have been slowly going up? Adding shipping fees and such. They got the name out. Now they have to start making more of a profit to keep up with competition and hope their product has won over current product owners and future buyers. It's just how it works.
