Triple B Posted May 20, 2011 Report Posted May 20, 2011 so my deck shut off for a second last night when my bass hit and now my amp wont come back on, is this my remote wire? or is this something completely different? my amp has turned off a couple of times when the bass hits but usually always turned back on once i shut my truck off and turned back on but the deck has never shut off before so im confused... ALPINE408 Posted May 20, 2011 Report Posted May 20, 2011 if it shut off befor and came back on when you turned the truck off then back on you were putting the amp into portect and that is bad mmmmmkay means something is not right ohms short low voltage and keeping it like that will make the amp fail after a while sounds like you went to low in voltage and everything shut down deck included and could of fryed your amp Quote Have you ever had your woofers blown?
