audiofanaticz
does any one know the specs of steves box? Has he giving it out ? Why do you need the specs of someone elses box? Figure stuff out on your own, this way you will actually learn a thing or two! Theres so many calculators on the net to do the math for you if you need it. the1uwannab
Hey, just curious, do the smd subs not require a lot of port area? i was looking at the member builds and you guys might have seen this guy thats putting 2 15" smd's in his jetta. the port looks to be like 5 or 6 x 16 or so, which is only like 80-100 cubes, and his box is 8 cubes. thats only like 10-13" per cube. i also recall that steve's is pretty damn small too for (4) 18's! Your talking about my car lol and the port is actually 18 x 4 x 23 and tuned at 33hz. these subs are made for smaller boxes I saw in your thread and still feel you need port area. That may work but doesn't seem optimal at all. Its a little under optimal but with a trunk build thats the best i could do
