Take your $125 and go to amazon.com order your fatmat kit and I guarantee you wont be disappointed...second skin and dynamat are way over priced for the average car audio guy... I enjoy the great results from fatmat...it deadends the sound..i get no rattles and there is no smell either and of course for 100 bucks I did my entire truck

1991 Honda Accord SE. Im thinking of just doing the top of the trunk and the bottom, but the top of the trunk has all the holes in there to reduce weight. That leaves me confused because I dont know how to put it on with all the holes in there; I guess just cover them all.

Ok cool, you got yourself a CB7 just like me. :)

Here is how I did my trunk lid:

You can actually use less than that and achieve great results.

If you need any tips or pointers, just ask. I've tore my car apart more times than I'd like to remember. ;)

I used Damplifier Pro and used about 4 sq. ft. (about two sheets).

Yep, just 4 sq. ft. as you can see in the picture.

And back in the day when I installed my Damplifier Pro it was 80 (eighty) mils thick.

EDIT: Someone needs to fix that, I can't type 8 0 together or it will look like this 80.

So say I got Sixty mil, I would put like 2 sheets on the top of my trunk, and maybe 1 on the bottom? So around, 8 sq. ft.

Depending on which product you go with, you'll probably end up buying 20-25 sq. ft. of material (since that is the minimum a lot of places sell).

To tackle just the lid and the floor, you could probably get away with as little as 10 sq. ft..

Again, I would suggest you avoid FatMat and find a product that states that it is butyl and not a "rubberized" compound.

This will give you the best results and insure that it wont peel off or fail.
