iKidwell Posted May 25, 2011 Report Posted May 25, 2011 If you've got the balls and electrical do 3 d2's and run at .67, I think..might be giving you false info, but I'm pretty sure it's d2's Quote c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old. i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer. 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan Build in Progress
Winn Posted May 25, 2011 Report Posted May 25, 2011 1.4 i believe sends you down right below one ohm i may be wrong Quote You know how you avoid that? Man the fuck up and bang her best friend sister mom cousin worst enemy and never look back. JUST SAY ANTI-AUDIOPIPE
matt402 Posted May 26, 2011 Report Posted May 26, 2011 (edited) 3 d1.4ohm subs would be wired to .933ohm on 1 amp, both amps strapped would be .466ohm each. 3 d2ohm subs would be wired to 1.33ohm on 1 amp, .66 if ur strapping both. i would possibly even look into getting a 3rd memphis 4k amp, then do d.7ohm subs in series. either way u need a lot of electrical... (id do option 2 or 3 tho) (OR U COULD SELL THE MEMPHIS AMPS & GET 1 DC 9K =]) Edited May 26, 2011 by matt402 Quote

Autruche Posted May 30, 2011 Report Posted May 30, 2011 Same configuration with 3 D1.4s brings you to 2.1 ohms nominal. Not sure if those amps like being wired under 1 ohm each, I know some amps can be touchy. Quote Need Test Tones/Sine Waves?
