Iraggi quad bracket **HELP ME STEVE**

Thanks guys. One question. The kit comes with 8 bearings to keep the tension. I noticed in all the pics I have seen of this kit installed there is like a big steel pc that goes on the outside of the bearing when installed I dont seem to have those.

Yanked this from Caco. If you look at the bracket that is between the two pcs of paper where you can see the edges of the bearings. To the right side, the side that would face the front of the vehicle, it looks like there is something in front of the bearings. That's what I am talking about.

This is gonna be such a pain in the ass, lol

you got a lot more stuff then i got......

just use the bearings the way they are, raw. No need for a cover. Once it all starts to go together you will realize its not too hard to do. I wouldnt tighten up any bolts till its ALL in place though or you will have a tough time lining up the front/rear bracket.

just go for it bro its really not to big a deal IF YOU HAVE all the parts. I didnt, hence the reason i was angry. Had i had everything, i wouldnt be bitching at all because its a great design.

you dont like the bracket? i like it....still in my truck after all these years with no problems...like i said, i got heated that i had to make it work myself with no help, missing parts and nobody answering the phone. Other then that i like the bracket.

Im sure it wont be that difficult either I just wanna get the best idea of installation before I take my shit apart you know. Seems a one pc design like Tj made would be ideal but what the hell.

A side from weight, is there any reason this cant be assembled then dropped in?

Come on steve...just makes alot more sense to cnc a piece of plate steel.

Zero need for any adjustments.

Not saying it doesnt work, hell the hummer is still rockin it also.

But, pos compared to whats offered on todays market.

Like running an OG pc laptop from the early 90's......or still using a fuggin "bag" phone.

And before you muh fukka's go off on the bag phone comment, yes I know it was analog and "WON'T" work today..

Just sayin.

Once you get it going it's pretty easy.

The biggest pain will be the belt. Trust me

Ray i just ran thru the whole build log..didnt see any pics of the alt setup. Either way I guess I will just have to go for it.

If anyone can, I would love a good pic of the install from the side instead of the front.

well sure if i was starting all over again i would look to another brand. When i got mine, nobody had 4 of them on a Tahoe so it was a straight up "contraption" (and still is). Just like anything else, you cant be the first AND the ONLY forever, eventually someone else will offer their version. He coulda improved on it and came clean with some great products but instead, he sorta just fell off. So much WASTED potential, its just dissapointing. Not my problem though, life goes on.

On a side note - DC Alternator was making me one, even had it chromed out for me......then fizzle fizzle, never heard a word about it again. Its ok, mine still works like a champ.
