Thank you! The RCA's, remote and power wire is ran pretty close together under the carpet, should I be worried about this? Never actually thought that it could be bad.

I dont know how much truth is in it but I have always heard you could get some un-wanted noise coming through your speakers when you have the RCAs near your power wire.

Heres some light reading :drinks:

I'll leave it for now. Gonna get meades distortion detecter, unless the shipping breaks my bank lol, and with some experimenting it should come clearer to me.

I learned in school that these cables are twisted to take out "electromagnetic interference" (yeah I had to check it on wikipedia to make sure I wasn't messing up in my head) or some shit like that but I have no idea if the same goes for the RCA's, since theyre twisted too in my case I'm not too worried.

what did you do to make that hole in the armrest? i was looking at mine because im probably gonna do the same on my next build but theres a 1-2 inch layer of foam. How did you seal the foam around the edges?

The foam piece behind the armrest is a single piece and is separated from the other foam, so you can just pull it out, no worries ;)

However when i cut the hole i noticed that inside the armrest where the foam ends theres a frame of hard plastic, so if your saw (or whatever youll use to cut it up) gets sorta stuck then you know that you hit the "edge".

The foam piece was about the same size as the armrest.

Want me to try snap some pics on it?

Sorry for the picture quality ;)

The foam piece is as big as marked on this next pic and should be easy to pull out from even a small hole.

Now here's some pics of the frame itself, it did get some marks when i cut the hole but you cant see it when the cover is on

And here I'm squeezing the frame to try and give you a picture of how it looks. Try it urself i think u can feel it thru the foam.
