Derrick824
Being svc subs I hope the amps are strappable or you'll be wiring 3 subs to one and 2 subs to the other which will be a little off. What impedance are the subs?
chevyridah
the amps are strapable.. and i think the subs are single 2 ohm... but if i strap the amps do i jus run the both amps into the wire coming out from the box Quote 5 15" american bass xd's in a wall 18 cubic ft ported boxx.. 1 pa sl3400 for subs all 0gauge 3 duralast batts workin on the mids n highs "Bend My Hat Back Knockin Down Pictures Off Ya Wall big murt Comin Hard, Beatin Hard In The Drop Top. Chode69
you THINK?? ive never heard of a single 2 ohm sub so hmmm questionable i dont recommend 5 subs and 2 amps and strapping them. you should have an even number i would honestly cut one out and do 2 per amp that way you dont end up with a x.xx ohm load. Chode69
who cares about a x.xx ohm load? true BUT if his amp is 2 ohm stable and you end up with a 1.34 it MAY put it into protect some amps are jsut that sensitive. Chris
I don't think having a x.xx ohm load is going to hurt things unless it's below the amp's stability capability. Those subs are most likely not single 2ohm, & if you have them all in parallel, That rules out single 4ohm also. Take one out & see for sure, that way we can tell you whatcha gotta do bro. Derrick824
I'm curious to know how you currently have 5 svc 2ohm subs wired to your amp. If they're all parallel thats a 0.4ohm load. If they're all in series then its a 10ohm load. If its 2 in series and 3 parallel or something of that sorts then they're all getting a different wattage. I'm really scratching my head on this one.
