Noob box build

Recommended Posts

essentially make two circles.

the first one will be the cutout diameter

the second will be the outer diameter of the sub

offset the area inside the first circle (pull it down like you're cutting it out)

raise the area around the outer circle 3/4" because this will be your second baffle.

end result should look something like this

(took all of 2 minutes, but who's counting :D)

Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs.

More box builds

some cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches!

I'm with captain stupid.

by adding a flush-mount baffle does it effect the integrity of the second baffle and the strength it provides?

On a completely unrelated sidenote, I can't stop laughing at Alex K's avatar.

im curious to see what the enclosure specs would need to be for the t1 im puttin in my daily but its just a single 12,the enclosure you sketched up looks good but i have to agree flush mount looks badass

Wow I'm incredibly retarded. That was easy. Thanks.

besides looking nicer, i think it helps with the stability and strength of the baffle, with two layers on top of each other, there is less likelihood of baffle flex

ive seen people double up on every piece of wood, not just baffle, but that is overkill id say unless your throwing a lot of power to it
