Mrop
Checked out the pictures of tinting, looks like you got it down! Wiring looks clean, though I agree having the wires overlap the other buss bar would be something that would stay in the back of my mind. thanks! i got the wiring's solved. it isn't good enough for me, but wil do for now. i'm planning on making two big copper bars straight out from the terminals and buying big golden connector where i can hook my wires up or something, i gotta rethink and rethink it again so i can sleep my night whitout thinking about it. so, rain stopped back to work. power cable from my old car "rolla" was like 8foot too short, so i had to connect cutted pieces to it to add length. copper crossed smooth it out burn some silver-lead on it and heat it up until it melts inside. and tape it out. this was the end result of today's thinking. not the best, but works. negative side done. 2x 0AWG groundings to chassis 1x smaller cable straight from front battery's negative 6x 0AWG to the amp positive side 1x 0AWG from front battery (trough 70A relay) 6x 0AWG to amp battery all cabled up, looking nice! hooked amp up and started the headunit. nice! wwwhoaaa :3 front battery engine off, power off 12,29V http://sata.pp.fi/Mrop/245volle/projektikuvat/2/110620112987%20%28Custom%29.jpg[/img] same at the back 12,72V http://sata.pp.fi/Mrop/245volle/projektikuvat/2/110620112988%20%28Custom%29.jpg[/img] engine off, power on (relay connects the batteies) 12,54V at back and at front 12,42V so back battery loads the front battery. good thing to have relay there, so back battery can stay at 12.7x all night whitout loading the front battery all the night www.peranurkka.net
Mrop
engine on 14.04V (28C in shadow, so its pretty frigin warm atm, VOLVO's are used to work in -30C not in hot days like this!) back also 14.05V so it loads to the back also, nice. Farboii is a 4ohm SVC sub and i'll give 300w to it. i did not want to put 50Hz on repeat and tease my neighbors while trying to measure the amperage with clamp meter. so i used this formula. Volts = sqrt(ohm x power) littlebit of vacuum and zippers. luukin guud! i have to rethink this again. i want it to look supersmooth when finished. now it looks ok and sounds great! this how it should look like, but the panel wont fit... hmm this might be one reason, need to cut some metal here. ow shait, that's bad. well ill cut a hole in the plywood however when i put everything back in the car it looks like this. don't have to worry about the panel for now tomorrow is another day, forecast says thunder, winds and lotsa rain... just in time. www.peranurkka.net

stefanhinote
Lots of progess, looks clean once the rear top is closed, what where'd the amps go?!?!
SGTSKIP
Nice work, are you planning on using larger wire to the smaller amp? Looks like you could go up a size or 2 Steven Does this smell funny to you? Its your sister
Mrop
Wall that bitch hahaha. no. that would be like... 8x 12" in a diamond shape minimum, and i don't hav that much cash. there is room for box size: 4ft x 3ft x 8ft roughly and still have room for batts and amps. maybe next year :3 Lots of progess, looks clean once the rear top is closed, what where'd the amps go?!?! hoho thanks! that area is used for extra 2 seats, so the car can be transformed from 5 seater to 7 seater car. that box is one of the best things i've found in my car, the best thing was when i discovered the area where the back-battery is now! i was like: YYYYYYYEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!! Nice work, are you planning on using larger wire to the smaller amp? Looks like you could go up a size or 2 Steven smaller amp is 4x250W peak, i have measured roughly 50watts rms / channel with clamp meter. so it does not need more than that, but when i start to clean it up i might change it up to a size, however the terminals are so smal that anything larger than that 8mm2 is hard to connect. thanks for the comments, they keep me goin! www.peranurkka.net
Mrop
sorry for late update, i forgot to update yesterday day started with trying to make the panel fit. little markings how much i should cut off use your screwdriver to pop these off like so same markings to plywood poke it till there is a hole for your cable checking it out how it fits. give a little scissors to the fabric glue lotsa glue glue and use staplegun to make the fabric stick to the plywood looking good! the floorpanels are out now. there is 42cm height from the floor to the lowest point of the backseat. a 18" subwoofer is 47cm in diameter, so it is not too bad, but will affect if i try to competete in 1500w stock. however 18" is always a 18". then what to do with this i tought long how to fix this, should i cut it straight, drill holes or wtf to do with it. then i decided to go by the easiest way. a hole. i taped the cables flat underneath the panel and used some cablestripper to secure my RCA:s from sharp metal like so the panel does not fit perfectly, but well enough for me. then underneath the amps a piece of plywood to hold em firmly www.peranurkka.net
Mrop
i just sticked it underneath, between the 2 layers of fabric, one sound isolator one the interior. voila! then at the front i had pulled 2 wires from the back battery, so i can check my voltage while bumping bass voltmeter (from dealextreme) went to here, and cables were sticked inside the panels plug it in the outside sensor was pulled trough firewall into engine bay and always to the passanger's side of the car. to avoid heat from the engine and not totally outside to avoid wind when driving. at back i connected wires trough relay, so everytime i push my radio on the relay allows the voltmeter to work. simple. like so. i had a littlebit of time to bump first bass out from the car. it wasnt much, but still! i CANNOT WAIT TILL THE 18" ARRIVES :S shaking littlebit, that 12" fatboii gets 300w atm to 4@ and the box is factorymade, so its morelike rubbish. better than nothing, for now. www.peranurkka.net
Mrop
these i gotta attach next. to avoid amps overheating drill hole in the middle actually i had noidea how to do this, i just did it whitout thinking too much 4 holes for 4 fans cut the fabric in X -shape and rip it out with screwdriver mmkay, looks promising taped it up so i wont cut it while sawing the holes like so now let's see how it goes. this machine tends to ruin everything in my hands. end result is ugle always. ummh... okay then. suck it its not that bad they fit! extra's off pretty ugle, but its gonna be loud, so like EXO says: i dont care if i look stupid and sound great, i dont want to sound stupid and look great. little bit of glue and stamp it i was planning to use original VOLVO speaker grills, but i had only 2 with one missing the chrome ring. so i decided only to use the plain grills for now www.peranurkka.net
Mrop
that's not bad... i think littlebit bigger fans to the other side. duct -tape <3 theyre connected to smaller amps GND and RMT so everytime i push "on" from the headunit, fans turns on. i had to get somesort cable holders, i hate plain cables lying around if theyre smaller than 0AWG i think theyre straight, or atleast i hope left side did not have that much blowing powa but the other side has POWAAAA!! (jeremy clarckson imitation) magic! that should do it for today. www.peranurkka.net
