SnowDrifter Posted June 6, 2011 Report Posted June 6, 2011 As some of you may or may not know, me and my friend were going to build a 4th order BP box for his 2 kicker comp 12s (2010). Then I read the post on t-line boxes and figured out how to design and build them. Now my question is: Should I put them in a t-line? I know the specs are a bit outside of what is reccomended, but I am wondering if it is still possible. nCOMP1337 Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 i dont think it would work well, except for the Fs, the other specs you listed are all higher then is recommended for a tline and not by a little, the qms is about 150% higher than suggested It may work, but it probably wouldnt give you the output you want, and the sub may not fair well in the environment some subs just arent made to work in certain applications when i decided on doing a tline, i did a lot of research finding what subs met the recommended suggested specs for a tline, i ended up on AA chaos, although one of these days want to do a tline with an IDQ as well either way best of luck bud
