crazyeight
My first aftermarket headunit was a pull out blaupunkt tape player. I bought used off a friend. My second headunit was an Alpine CDA-7949 w/ an Alpine amp. I wish I still had both of them.

Quiet
in 1997 I bought a sony full logic auto reverse cassette deck with 13 watts rms x 4, rca pre outs, and a joystick remote all for about $120. I gave it to my brother after I "upgraded" to a Xplod CD deck, which died after a couple of years. My brother is still using the tape deck. Quote 2007 Pacifica Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud. I can never win, and I will never get it finished or perfect. It always has me coming back for more, I can never get my fill of it, but I get what I need.
