bumonskateboard6
I put fuses on the big 3, it's just an extra safety precaution from the wire burning up. Have I ever popped one of those fuses? No. Would I still put them in? Yes. Low voltage doesn't blow amps. That's a myth. A router that does the sub holes makes rounded edges also?

Maybe you'll be fine maybe ya won't it's up to you, and if you're doing it with OFC 1/0 fuse it with a 300A fuse if it's CCA 1/0 fuse it with 250A fuse. shogen
fuse it... it'll cost you no more than $15 to do so and it protects a $200 alternator and $200 battery... so you can protect that and your car... why not? even if there are people saying not to do it... it would be a silly decision not to... Kevin
You should always use fuses.
Monergist
You don't have to fuse between alternator and battery, but as you can see, some people do. I don't. And you could Big 3 in advance and add the fuse block later.
