Im just trying to help you not fuck up ur alt. check the voltage with a dmm if its 12.5+ go for it. if not, leave it on trickle for a lil while.. or just hook it up regardless.. ppl do it, i mean its just a risk taking kinda thing. your choice. I put 2 deka batterys and 220 amp alternatorin at the same time. both my batterys where at 12.4 when I put them in and when I replaced my alt it charged at 12.9 at idel.
