Bakerman
And let me stand out by saying "I DO NOT KNOW EVERYTHING". In fact, I know very little. But through my time I have invested in car audio, this is a basic standpoint of what I know on clipping. If I have in fact stated some wrong information, then it was because I learned it wrong...so please don't hesitate to correct me...just don't be an ASS about it. Baydestrian
don't tell me you load the song into and audacity and say "hey make this track red!", here's an easier way, just open the track up in Windows Media Player, right click on the center of the screen and choose Bars & Waves>O-Scope, just look for the flat spots which is clipping Quote 2015 Mazda 6 JVF Customz 4.0 Proto 15>Wolfram W4500 @ .5ohm 2 Sundown Neo 6.5 + 2 CT Meso Tweeters (Front) x Kicker KS6.5 (Rear)>JL Audio VX400/4i NSB-AMG35 (front) / 40ah Lithium Headway (Rear) built by Erni Audio & Electrical
Guest
Ouch! Yours tunes it by ear!? Hell you could do that yourself.. guess i better make sure mine has a oscope the closest "reputable" shop around here does it by ear, yes. my scope wasnt being used on my car in that picture though. it was being used on a car that had the gains set by said shop, which the car owner and i promptly fixed right after snapping that picture.
