SR20DAZE
No man i totally agree, that's why im asking, im asking how it's set and things so i can learn and spread the information with friends around here to farther my knowledge, but the shop should be able to set my gains correct. I know theres a few people here that live near me, in Fresno Cali. Call audio innovations in fresno. They have all the things to do it. Ray *owner* is on here too. Try to get a hold of him or if not call the shop when they open. Quote Hahah damn cody She ain't that sexy. I wouldn't even let her blow me. CJ18
I think I can make this much easier for you. The bass knob on the 2k has a clip light. You turn the gain up until the clip light turns on and then back it down until it goes off. I have tested mine and actually have a clean signal with the clip light fully on, so if you set it with no clip light showing then you should have clean power. byers319
Seeing as your in fresno. PM "Ray" and he will get you all set up. Ray knows his stuff and if you tell him what you just said in here he will get you squared away. And I'm sure he will explain how its working if you ask. TheNewbie
Yeah the only reason i didn't go with that CJ is because i was told that the clipping light isn't something that i should rely on. That it's not accurate. So your saying I should have my gains cranked up all the way then have my bass knob in adjust the bass knob till i see a clipping light then back it down. That i can do! I just want to clarify this is what you are saying. Alsoo how can i be sure im not pushing the subs to hard im sure i'd be able to hear it. A light clip is ok. Usually a flicker on thr knob instead of fully on clip light. Ray should explain all this tp you. Or if you arent busy i can meet you up somewhere or at ai with ray and talk about all of your setup Quote Hahah damn cody She ain't that sexy. I wouldn't even let her blow me. TheNewbie
It would be better for me to get my setup first, then go down there haha, unless you are going to go there to strictly teach me about this haha. That would be wonderful. I honestly don't have ANY of mysetup yet just trying to learn about all this so when i do i don't eff it up, i almost have enough for both my lvl3's should be another day or two. Then i have tons more to get, just learning at this point and time while im saving up Quote Check out my build log: http://www.stevemead...60#entry1958353 Different folks have different strokes.
