727Designs
It will be ported through the top, hopefully interchange able. I wanna try DC but Idk. I really like kicker. I just need to sell my subs so I can order a Solo X. From what people say I think I will like it. Especailly in the right box. This box is around 9.5 cubes and will have a 32-35hz SQ port. I used to be a Kicker fan boy myself, and you may love your Solo X but I still say there are MUCH better options for the money. Either way, it's your setup, not mine. I was thinking of going DC myself but this wait fuggin blows. I think I'm going Fi BTL N2 How do you like the sundown sub in your picture? I LOVE it. On an AQ 2200D daily right now and it absolutely rips. For the money it's an unbelievable sub. -Zach-2010 Toyota TundraFull Hybrid Audio SQ 7" BDS on 37's 2000 Ford Expedition 160+ dB Green Turd -SOLD-

Heres my first time ever at using a router. I got a jasper jig though so that makes it pretty easy. -Ross Project Layla Truck: 99' F-150 Gathering things for my next build. Louisiana Bass
Looks nice man. Is it 9.5 cubes efote or after displacements. I'm hoping before, because I wouldn't do more than 6.5 cubes on the sub. N8. No homo...unless you want there to be.
DudeWith4x4
Before. Lol. When figuring displacements you subtract the sub and the port correct? Also, can you use two ports? just divid the port lenght in half? -Ross Project Layla Truck: 99' F-150 Gathering things for my next build. DudeWith4x4
Anyone like this one better? Amp racks on the sides and two 4" ports on the sides. The front in resesed. I will make a fiberglass panel for the front. -Ross Project Layla Truck: 99' F-150 Gathering things for my next build. When you get it I have an idea for a box I wanna talk about when you have the time. I have pretty much decided to go with some DC Level 3 10's. Nuthuggin or not, it's alot of speaker for the money even when compared to "similar" Sundown, DD, Fi, and RE. And it doesnt look like mainstream subs can even touch them really. Crazy box skills by the way...... 1998 SS/T Ram Build Log - Kenwood KVT-514 and KNA-G510 Navigation - 2 DC Level 3 12" - Components??? - Sundown ??? - Sundown??? - Knu Konceptz - Second Skin Dampy Pro - XS D6500

I will make a fiberglass panel for the front. You need to design them in Torres first that way you can see port area per cube, displacement, etc to give you more of an idea on how it will work. Once you get BassBoxPro just sit down with it for a couple of hours and you'll get the hang of it. I'm using it right meow actually. -Zach-2010 Toyota TundraFull Hybrid Audio SQ 7" BDS on 37's 2000 Ford Expedition 160+ dB Green Turd -SOLD-

I was just wondering if the design was beter than the other. Its far from done. I need to add some bracing I think. -Ross Project Layla Truck: 99' F-150 Gathering things for my next build.
