rezinated Posted June 22, 2011 Report Share Posted June 22, 2011 its gonna be a slot port in a extended cab 93 pos chevy and its gonna be a console box out of 5/8 mdf with a 1700 cea hifonics brz would it be ok to build a 4 cubed box at 32 hz with just 1 12 inch sub dimensions of the box are 42in wide X 16in high X 13.25in deep and with a 3 inch port width and height of 8 inches and port length of 11.4 i should get 32 hz if my math is correct.... by the way this is going to be a t line box, and if i decided to upgrade could i just put the second sub at the end of the chamber right before it ports? Louisiana Bass Posted June 22, 2011 Report Share Posted June 22, 2011 Box is way too big for sub, and I wouldn't even try a tline, since you don't seem to know actually what your doing. Your talking about slot ports and tlines, but then say you'll use the box and throw another sub in later on. That's a big NO! Just build a simple slot portbox, 2.0 cubes after displacements tuned to 35 hz, with 14-17 sq inches or port per cube. Quote N8. No homo...unless you want there to be.
