medley123
Alright, so I just got my AQ1200D amplifier in the mail and hooked it up. It sounds freakin amazing. When I tried hooking up the bass knob, the subwoofer would just cut out on me, but when I would unplug it, it would work fine. Is there something I'm not doing right here or is there a problem with the knob? FYI, <--- I'm still a noob! 2006 Ford EscapeHead Unit: Kenwood KDC 352Subs: (3) 15" DC XL 15s with PSI recones, 1.4 ohm coilsSub amp: DD Audio M4 (Black Version)Door Speakers: (2) Crossfire 10s, (2) Hertz Coax.Mid/highs amp: Rockford Fosgate P500-4 Electrical:XS D3400 under the hood(3) XS XP3000s in the back2 runs of KnuKonceptz OFC 0 Gauge ran to the back (1 pos, 1 neg)Excessive Amperage 300 amp alt (FINALLY!) hdorre
My intention isn't to insult your intelligence, but did you try turning the knob? I ask this because the knob is "backwards" On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread

C-Fizzy
Are you sure it was max? If you're positive, did you buy it new or used? When you plug the knob in, does the power light come on? under construction I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me. u hate c-fizzy? medley123
I twisted it both ways to max and min and it didn't affect it. It's brand new and yes the power light comes on. 2006 Ford EscapeHead Unit: Kenwood KDC 352Subs: (3) 15" DC XL 15s with PSI recones, 1.4 ohm coilsSub amp: DD Audio M4 (Black Version)Door Speakers: (2) Crossfire 10s, (2) Hertz Coax.Mid/highs amp: Rockford Fosgate P500-4 Electrical:XS D3400 under the hood(3) XS XP3000s in the back2 runs of KnuKonceptz OFC 0 Gauge ran to the back (1 pos, 1 neg)Excessive Amperage 300 amp alt (FINALLY!) C-Fizzy
You may have a defect from AQ. same with my amp, I have the 3500.1, I can plug the knob in, power/clip lights come on, but doesn't control the bass. It's because of a loose connection on the board of the amp. Contact AQ for technical help. under construction I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me. u hate c-fizzy?
