why are you bumping? you got answers to your questions

people use aeroports for many reasons, save space, effiency and it can be claimed to be slightly louder (not to the human ear but in dbs) some even use it for looks. its usually more expensive if you have to use 6" ports because there about 40bucks for each set

as for the circle to cut, parts express said 8 1/4 for the 6" port but that was too small for me i used 8 7/16 for a nice snug fit

For me, an aeroport it´s louder than a slot port on the right application, BUT, kerf port is as loud as an aeroport, 2 different things, once again, depends on the application, sometimes a kerf works better than an aero and viceversa, my explorer it´s using slot while my swift is using "aeros"

I used a 8 5/16 hole when I cut out for the 6" aeros. Had to lightly tap it in, but nice and snug
