That's a crude drawing of my wall, all inner dimensions. People have said it's 14.45cubes or so. I'd like a tuning of 35hz or 36hz, at least 180sqin of port with at least 10cube net. Woofer displacement is .52

Now, I'm wondering how to design the baffle. I don't have enough height to stack both 18s vertically with the port on drivers side, which was the plan until I got measurements lol... So, can anyone with some experience recommend where to place the subs and port? I'm thinking subs side by side with port on top, but don't know how that would work. If anyone can design a baffle that would work for me, I'd love you long time... Thanks :D

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Anyone feel like chiming in? Don't need a design, just some recommendations on which position may get louder to the ear/meter.

I've considered staggering them, how would I pull it off without causing loading issues?

Alright, think we are gonna do subs side by side, port on top. Port will be 8Hx23Wx23L, using 1 common wall. My baffle will be 2.25" thick, so the actual port needs to be 20.75" long, correct? And is it still 1common wall even if the port bends? Sorry for the noob questions :)

Also, how far does a subwoofers motor need to be from the back of the box/wall of port?

And finally, will subs horizontally port on top still get loud to the ear and meter well? I know the general thing is port drivers side when looking to meter high, but I've had no experience with a wall before so idk :P

Thing is, your experienced. Much moreso than me. It seems easier for me to get a design together for Subs bottom Port Top, I'm worried if I attempt to stagger them, I may get loading issues if one is closer to the port.

Thanks for taking the time to read/reply, appreciate it man.

depends on your port length really. Ive only seen issues when the woofer closest to the port wall is along ways away from the port ending.

so if its an L port the woofer closest to the port face may have issues.
