18abVFL
i talked to one of the guys from TNESPL on the phone today and I ordered one of these ports. It will be for a pair of Type R 12s in a 4.3ft box, should be tuned around 33hz. How will this sound over a basic slot port? BeAlLsTaR13
IMO, i would go with a single 6, 8" seems like it'd be too big for those woofers no proven difference between an aero or a slot, depends on the box tbh, my old slot port box sucked for my sa12s, went with an aero and shits beast, and moves hella air, my buddy had aeros for his 8s, went slot and got the same results as me imo, if your tight on space i'd go aero.. and where you plan on having port located? going for numbers with port on driver side?, subs and port firing back, or towards the cabin? I plan on subs back, port side. Does it really matter what side the port fires from? Does it really matter what side the port fires from? my box is about 4.5 cubes, and my single 6 is just perfect as for firing, depends on the vehicle.. i have only seen a select few people gain in a trunk firing towards to the side Quote Team Sundown Audio**CURRENT** -- 2012 Scion tC Build Click Here **OLD** -- 2002 Pontiac Grand AM Build Click Herecheck them out, slap me a comment2002 Pontiac Grand AM SE 2.2l 4 cylinder ecotec.-------------------------------------------------------------------Head Unit - Alpine CDA-9887Subs - 2x Z 12 v.2s - v.3 + NS Soft partsAmplifier - Sundown Audio SAZ-3500DEnclosure - 3.33 Cubes tuned to 34.66hzFront Stage - JBL P660c 6.5" ComponentsRear Deck - Powerbass 4xl 6.5" Mid-RangeFront Stage Amplifier - Sundown Audio SAX-100.4DWires - Kicker Hyperflex 1/0, KnuKonceptz 1/0, Knu 4 and 8 Gauge, Kicker RCAsElectrical - 275 AMP DC Power H/O Alternator, XS Power S3400, XS Power D2700Videos - http://www.youtube.com/user/BeAILsTaR13-------------------------------------------------------------------
